Hello SWC, Run/Walk, and Interested Run/Walk Members!

There’s a VERY IMPORTANT Run/Walk meeting tomorrow, Tuesday (11/10) at Boelter 4413 at 530pm-630pm

You will be choosing and getting to know your committee, either Participants, Events, or Donations. Chair positions will be assigned to those who are present and have filled out an application. For the unfilled positions, priority will be given to those who are present at the meeting. It’s not too late to join! Come to find out what positions are still unfilled!

Also, we will be gathering ideas for a social; something funmazinglicious (fun + amazing + delicious)!

Run/Walk is one of several committees within the Student Welfare Commission (SWC) and is responsible for putting on one of the biggest student-run events on campus every year: a 5k event in the spring that benefits the Child Life/Child Development program at the Mattel Children’s Hospital. It brings together UCLA students, faculty and members of the greater LA community to benefit the children’s hospital. There will be live performances, free food and giveaways as well as a silent auction and prizes.

If you would like to join Run/Walk, you DO NOT want to miss this meeting!!!
