Justice David Hermel
Justice

David Hermel is a neuroscience major and president of the UCLA chapter of the International Brain Mapping and Intraoperative Surgical Planning. He is active in the Neuroscience Undergraduate Society and involved in various research projects at the Laboratory of Neuro Imaging and Cedars Sinai Medical Center. He has served on the Global Health Committee of the Student Welfare Commission and, as a result of his involvement in the student community, has developed an appreciation for student government. He was confirmed as a justice in 2010 and believes that his unique background makes him well positioned to serve the undergraduate community.

Justice Sinthuja Nagalingam
Chief Justice

Sinthuja Nagalingam is a Business/ Economics and Political Science double major in the class of 2012. Since her first quarter at UCLA, she has been involved in community service organizations on campus and is currently Administrative Director for Project Literacy. In addition, she previously worked for a Congressman both in his district and Washington D.C. office.

Justice Justin Kim
Chief Justice

Justin is a fourth year Political Science major. Justin was raised in La Crescenta, California and attended Crescenta Valley High School, where he has spent much of his years in community service. As a UCLA student, he has continued his passion in helping others by pursuing a career in law and politics. His ambition has led him to intern at a private law firm as well as the Governors Office in Los Angeles. He is involved and a big fan of basketball, rap music, and serving others. Justin is currently a collegiate writing teacher at a local academy. He hopes to one day become a political figure, reviving hope in our government for the public and those less fortunate.

Justice Ay'Anna Moody
Justice

Ay'Anna Moody is a Political Science and African American studies double major with a minor in Education and Political Science in the class of 2013. Ay'Anna was born in Oakland, California, where she graduated from Lionel Wilson College Preparatory Academy in 2009. At UCLA, Ay'Anna is a coordinator for the S.H.A.P.E. program that offers peer advising, college assistance, and academic empowerment at Compton High School. She is also a Bruin Ambassador where she works closely with UCLA Admissions and high schools around Los Angeles. Ay'Anna has worked as an intern at the Law Offices of Diana Frappier since January of 2005. In addition, in the summer of 2010 she interned at Urban Peace Movement, a social justice and violence prevention non-profit organization where she organized a Job and Resource Fair with the Oakland A's for the underserved communities in the East Bay.
